Axoft

Axoft develops soft, flexible neural interfaces engineered to mechanically match brain tissue, targeting the chronic inflammation and signal degradation that limit rigid silicon electrode arrays and typically degrade recording quality within months of implantation. Its Fleuron platform is built on proprietary soft-electronics technology intended to hold stable neural recordings for years rather than months, addressing the device-longevity barrier to chronic intracortical BCIs. Axoft closed a $55 million Series A round in April 2026 to advance the platform toward clinical trials and FDA regulatory approval.
