Cognixion develops AI-powered BCI systems for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), primarily targeting individuals with ALS, cerebral palsy, and locked-in syndrome. The Cognixion ONE headset combines EEG-based BCI with augmented reality and a generative AI communication engine. Backed by Samsung NEXT, Intel Capital, Amazon Alexa Fund, and Prime Movers Lab, Cognixion represents the convergence of consumer AR hardware, passive BCI sensing, and large language model-powered communication interfaces. The company partnered with Pupil Labs in 2025 to advance neural-visual research.
