g.tec medical engineering develops research-grade EEG/ECoG amplifiers and BCI systems widely used in neuroscience research globally. Founded by Christoph Guger, the company's g.USBamp and g.HIamp are standard instruments in academic BCI research labs. g.tec also develops the recoveriX neurorehabilitation platform for stroke patients, combining motor imagery BCI with functional electrical stimulation. The company is closely associated with the Berlin BCI group led by Prof. Klaus-Robert Müller at TU Berlin, one of the world's leading academic BCI research labs.
