Idun Technologies is a Swiss neurotechnology company developing in-ear EEG hearables for brain-sensing consumer earbuds. Co-founded by Séverine Gisin and Simon Bachmann in 2017, the company's IDUN Guardian 4 uses patented DRYODE electrode technology to capture EEG signals from within the ear canal, enabling focus tracking, fatigue detection, BCI hands-free control, eye tracking, and sleep monitoring. Idun partnered with Analog Devices to debut brain-sensing earbud prototypes at CES 2025. Launch customers include MindSpeaker (BCI communication for speech-impaired) and InnoBrain (cognitive safety monitoring for transportation). The company is preparing for a Series A round.
