InteraXon is the developer of the Muse EEG headband series, the best-selling consumer neurofeedback device globally. Founded by Ariel Garten and Chris Aimone in 2007, the company pioneered the consumer brain-sensing category with the original Muse in 2014. InteraXon's Muse S headband targets sleep and meditation; the Muse 2 targets meditation; the Muse Research platform targets academic EEG research. The Muse platform has been cited in over 200 peer-reviewed studies and received FDA De Novo clearance. The company has sold more portable EEG devices than any other system in history, with nearly 6 million hours of meditation completed, and generates approximately $5.8M in annual revenue.
