The OpenBCI Cyton is an Arduino-compatible, 8-channel biosignal amplifier board with a 32-bit PIC32MX250F128B processor and Texas Instruments ADS1299 ADC. Samples at 250 Hz per channel with 24-bit resolution (0.298 µV/bit). Expandable to 16 channels with the Daisy module (125 Hz streaming via Bluetooth, 250 Hz to SD card). Communicates wirelessly via RFDuino radio modules. Powers from 3-6V (USB or LiPo battery). Supports EEG, EMG, and ECG recording. Open-source firmware and hardware files available on GitHub.
